Hi

Just watched 1st episode of The Visit - had a few laughs at first then it became crude and not funny at all. Will try again -because I hope it will improve. Would like to know if there are any comedies been made that are clever/witty and not always crude?

I love comedies like Royle family(why dont we see repeats of it), Blackadder was superb but thoroughly sick of seeing it over and over again, My family is excellent ; coupling and Two pints of lager are good.

Thank you for your feedback. Please see below for new comedies coming up on BBC Entertainment in South Africa. These will form our new Comedy Take-Out night on Thursdays from September 24th in the restructured BBC Entertainment schedule:

From September 24th – running on Thursdays for 7 weeks at 2000, 2030, 2100
Green Green Grass series 2
My Family series 8
Rob Brydon’s Annually Retentive series 2

From November 12th – Thursdays for 6 weeks, same times as above
Reggie Perrin (the re-made series starring Martin Clunes)
Not Going Out series 3
No Heroics series 1

In the New Year we will have further new comedies available but these are yet to be fully confirmed at the moment.

As well as these upcoming comedies we also have After You’ve Gone series 3 currently showing on the channel – Tuesdays at 20:00; and Lab Rats series 1 Wednesdays at 20:00.

Hopefully you will find something more to your taste amongst the above offerings.
